Agave fourcroydes-Henequen

Another of the larger of the Agaves reaching to around 5'.  It is also a heavy producer of pups around the base which then can result in a large clump.  This selection is cultivated in Mexico as a source of fiber.  

It is limited in use by its very tender nature even in the low desert  It is similar in appearance to Agave angustifolia.
