Baccharis sarothroides-Desert
Broom Cut back to ground periodically to regenerate new growth. It can be drought deciduous. Native in the southwest along washes and bottomlands from sea level to 5500'. It is soil tolerant even tolerating poorly drained and alkaline soil. It is fast and can make a quick hedge. It does attract butterflies in the fall. |
