Cephalocereus senilis-Old Man Cactus
Cactaceae Family

This upright growing cacti comes to us from Mexico and with age can reach to over 40'.  The slender columnar branches are covered with long grayish white hairs.  In the low desert of Phoenix, it will appreciate protection from afternoon sun.  Give it a well drained site and deep infrequent irrigations.  Old specimens will flower with 2" rose colored flowers.
