Cephalophyllum 'Red Spike'-Red
This evergreen groundcover is a South
African native. It will form a clump 3-5" high and spread over a
foot. The leaves are spiky and point up to the bright red 2"
flowers which appear in winter and early spring. It is a bee
attractor. In the low desert, it would be best planted with a lil
afternoon protection to do its best.
