Convolvulus sabatius-Ground Morning Glory
Convolvulaceae Family

This perennial evergreen groundcover hugs the ground with soft hairy roundish leaves which are 1/2" - 1 1/2" wide.  The lavender flowers appear from the beginning of summer into fall.  It should have well drained situations to perform well.  After established for a few years, it might be necessary to cut it back severely in early spring for fresh new growth and improved flowering.
