Cylindropuntia ramosissima-Diamond Cholla
Cactaceae Family

Native from Southwest Utah into Mexico this low growing many branched shrubby form will reach 2' high by 3' wide.  Joints are 9" in length.  Blooms are greenish yellow appearing from May thru September.  Small fruit are covered with small spines.  It is native to low hills and flats from 500-3000'
