Euphorbia resinifera

This Euphorbia looks much like a cactus, although the two are not closely related. This plant can grow as a single stem, or produce mounds up to 5' tall and wide. The flesh is light green to glaucous blue, and lined with sharp spine-like thorns. These are widely adaptable, able to take full sun except in the low desert, or can even be grown indoors. Drought tolerant, grows best in a well-drained soil.
