Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'San Diego Red'
Malvaceae Family

Blooms are dark blood red during the warmer months.  In the low desert, it can suffer from frost damage on cold winter nites.  It should receive full sun for the best flowering.  With the arid alkaline soils of the desert, it can suffer from chlorosis.  Infrequent deep irrigations are best.
