The purpose of these worksheets is to introduce students to the use of SPSS for basic statistical application. These worksheets include exercises for the major topics covered in most introductory statistics texts. The SPSS approach used in this manual is the mouse “point and click” method rather than the alternative “syntax” method. This
workbook was new for Fall 2000 and revised in 2007.
A few corrections were made in 2007 but in
case any typographical and grammatical errors slipped through, please
make note
of them and pass them on to me. Other
