 I'm Marla DeSoto, a full-time faculty member in the
English
Department at Glendale
Community College North in Glendale,
Arizona. I
teach
ENG101 First-Year Composition in face-to-face, online and hybrid formats. I have also created and
maintain the
English Department website for the college. If you need to find me, here

Learn about my family...
My kids, Tom and Megan, and my husband, Cory, are the most important
people who share my life. Tom is 30 and a graduate of
ASU, now working for
Village Voice Media. My
daughter, 28 year old Megan, is also an ASU graduate and works for
Virgo Publishing. She loves her
