Political Science: Toni McClory

Welcome!

A nation in economic crisis, continuing wars and terrorism threats, a Supreme Court docket loaded with controversial cases, fiscal crises on the state and local front and upcoming elections.... Could the study of politics be more timely? This spring in POS 223 (Civil Rights), we'll be studying the hot issues: domestic spying, abortion, affirmative action, gay rights, internet porn, the death penalty, church/state controversies, immigration battles, racial profiling, and more. In POS 222 (U.S. Constitution) we'll take a hard look at the president's war powers. In POS 221 (Arizona Constitution) we'll be closely monitoring the performance of the new governor and legislature as they cope with the worst economic situation since statehood. I hope to see you in class this semester!
