How to submit an essay to the DropBox

Once students have completed their essays, they can copy and paste them in the course folder on GCCAZ | Shared | Courses | ENG 101 (or other course )  | Department Assessment.  Instructions for setting up a connection to GCCAZ are available.

On palette workstations, this folder appears on the S drive, right next to a course folder with your name (if you have one).   You can also access this folder from a workstation in your office if you have set up a link to GCCAZ though My Network Places.  (Theresa is still working on access from the Macs, but we anticipate that most students will submit essays from a  classroom or PIT workstation.) 

Because this is a DropBox, students will not be able to see the file after they have submitted it.  I suggest you use a convention like section number and palette username as the file name. 

You can also send the essays to me (karen.schwalm@gcmail.maricopa.edu) as attachments, and I will put them in the folder.
