Although we'll discuss this concept more later, there must be an unconformity between the Mesozoic rocks of the Note Cliffs and the older rocks on the rest of the map. What kind of unconformity is it?

A. angular unconformity. Because the rocks of the Note Cliffs are horizontal and the rocks underneath are plunging folds, the unconformity must be angular.
