for map explanation.
There is an unconformity between
the Redwall Limestone and the Organ Rock Shale everywhere on the
map. Which type is it?
- A. Angular unconformity
- B. Nonconformity
- C. Disconformity.
Both are sedimenary rocks eliminating the nonconformity. On the
map, both units are parallel in the same patterns. This eliminates
the angular unconformity. They must be disconformable.
