Fall 2006 Assessment

If you teach ENG 071, ESL 077, ENG 101 or ENG 107, we invite you to participate in a group activity for assessment of student writing.

If you prefer to do an individual assessment project, or if you teach courses other than ESL 077, ENG 071, ENG 101 and ENG 107,  you are responsible for designing and completing an individual assessment activity.  Follow these steps:

1. Beginning assessment
2. Planning an activity
3. Figuring out the results
4. Telling everyone about it

Individual reports are available in an electronic notebook which you will be able to search and read online. It's a great departmental resource!

The English Department will be merging its current Assessment website with this new website for Assessment materials and activities. We'll keep you informed of the improvements!
