Instructions for Student Submissions
When you are done grading the common assignment, you must fill out the Group Reporting form available at the following url: http://web.gccaz.edu/English/Assessment/Fall08/Reports/Fall08GroupRpt.html
You must also turn in an "A" grade sample, a "B" grade sample and a "C/D/F" grade sample to us. We need three graded samples from each section you teach.
If your students submit their papers electronically (via email or the Bb Digital Dropbox facility), you may choose to turn in the sample papers to us in the same format. Simply email the graded papers as rtf. file attachments to the following email address before the last day of school: rashmi.menon@gcmail.maricopa.edu.
If your students submit their papers to you in hard-copy format, you can photocopy three graded samples from each of your classes. You may drop off these photocopies at my office (HT2-110) any time during the final week of school.
Your sample submissions will help the English Assessment Committee in collecting important data. All information collected by us will be kept confidential. Assessment activities are collegial in nature. They are not designed to intimidate or evaluate any individual faculty member.
