We can find fossils of such great beasts as dinosaurs. Yet no such creatures exist today. Their fossils are not found in the rocks of the Grand Canyon. They are found in rocks that overly the rocks of the Grand Canyon but never in the rocks that overly those that appear at Lake Powell. By using the Principle of Superposition, we can conclude that dinosaurs must have appeared on the Earth after the rocks of the Grand Canyon but long before man appeared on the Earth. The fossil dinosaur footprint was found in rocks above the Moenkopi Formation.
