Geology Extra Credit Field Trip Options- Spring, 2015

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SCROLLING DOWN ANY FURTHER!

Note: You can earn a MAXIMUM of 15 points extra credit using these trips for a geology LAB course (e.g. GLG103, GLG104, & GLG111). If we offer duplicate trips to the same location, you may not use the duplicate for extra credit (i.e. you may not do two identical Thunderbird Park trips for credit). Do-it yourself options are on the bottom of this page.

Note: Do not expect to get credit for the trip by just showing up without signing up in advance. Furthermore, if you are absent without prior notice or an emergency excuse, you may have taken away the field trip opportunity for a fellow student. As a consequence, we may take away any existing and future extra credit that you may have accumulated in the class for which you were planning to apply the extra credit. Please be considerate of your fellow classmates and the faculty who are volunteering their time to offer you these educational opportunities.

Note: You must use your official MCCCD email address (MEID@maricopa.edu) to sign-up for these trips. If you are unfamiliar with, or need assistance with your gmail account, please visit: http://www.gccaz.edu/hd/email/gmail/gmail.htm

Note: Check back to see if new options have been added.

Note: Be sure to check here just before your trip to see if it has been cancelled due to weather or other circumstances.
